August 31 through September 19, 2026 in West Dallas. A night of remembrance, twenty days of concrete care, and a free festival where the neighborhood shows up for itself.
Day 1 is Aug 31, lit like a candle. The ribbon fills toward sunrise, day by day, until Sept 19.
Come to the Night of Awareness. Bring a photo or a name for the Memory Wall. If you cannot come, say the name where you are, to someone who will hear it.
International Overdose Awareness Day. A remembrance for the people we've lost, and the skills to keep the ones who are still here.

A photo or a name for the Memory Wall. Someone you love who is holding a lot. Yourself, as you are.
Naloxone. The First 5 Minutes™. Three phone numbers. One person you called and one person you plan to call.
Nobody will make you speak. Nobody will make you cry. There will be tissues, water, and a chair with your name on it if you need one.
We will say it aloud and light a candle for them on August 31. You do not have to be in the room. You do not have to write a story. A name is enough.

One concrete act per day. Nothing you cannot do from where you are. Every day, all twenty, is up in the light ribbon at the top — tap any of them.
One hour, no fixing. Men, one room. Wednesdays through the campaign. Location and RSVP posted to Live updates.
15 minutes, free kit at the end. Barbershops, churches, corner stores across West and South Dallas. Watch Live updates for pop-up spots and times.
A five-minute private mental health check. No account. No cost. No record you filled it out.

Free food, free haircuts, free screenings, live music, a neighborhood that showed up for itself. Eight zones, one door.
